3.5 Evaluations after AC upgrade: The results

    ・95% reduction of complaints regarding air conditioning and fan coils, which comprised majority of complaints in the past.

    ・Dual AC system provides all year round cooling and heating whereas in the past cooling was not available during in-between seasons and winter months.

    ・Guests are able to adjust to their preferred temperatures, not available in the past.

    ・Air volume control available, manually and automatically.

    ・Increased air volume to eliminate temperature imbalances among the rooms

    ・Increased cooling capacity to respond to increased load while maximizing
        existing pipes.

    ・Others: Simultaneous operation of fan coil and heat pump unit actualized time reduction of pre-heating.

 

        Operating Income

    ・   Hotel kept business open during upgrade construction
           
             Minimized out of order rooms by only shutting down the actual floor being
             worked and floors above and below.

            Maintaining original effective space

    ・   Effective space was maintained and did not have to expand machine room
             nor piping space.

         Cost Benefit
   ・   Accomplished all of the above at low cost and at lowest in comparison to
          other methods.
